The Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks finish off Week 4 with a Monday nighter at CenturyLink Field.
The Seahawks are looking to get on a roll after dropping the first two games of the season, while the Lions arrive still looking for their first win of the season. They’ll almost assuredly depart still looking for that first win.
A win on Monday night is just one more reason for Wilson to keep on smiling

It’s so difficult to beat the Seahawks on their field and I don’t see this Lion team changing the script. But despite that ugly 0-3 record, the Lions aren’t an afterthought. They can compete with Seattle, even in this venue.
Seattle picked up their first win last weekend vs. a Bears team that might have been as bad as any NFL team that’s taken the field the last few years (yes, worse than any Jaguar team). And while they had no problem smacking Chicago, they actually didn’t look that great.
The Seahawk offense isn’t scaring anyone. The defense is still very good.
The Lion defense will be fine. Their offense has question marks and will have a good number of series that end in punts. But they do have a top receiving tandem (CJ and Golden Tate) that can make plays, even vs. this secondary. Richard Sherman stays on the same side, so he won’t be covering Johnson very often. I think CJ could have a strong showing.
I’m not comfortable laying double digits with a Seahawk team that really doesn’t have the offensive punch to run away from many teams.
Look for Detroit to make a game of it.
