Conference Championship Picks

San Diego Chargers vs. New England Patriots

Line: Patriots -13.5

Over/Under:46

The party ends of this week for the San Diego Chargers. They have had a lot of travel the last week and a bit, they are banged up and have been heavily emotionally invested over the past few weeks. It's going to be very difficult to manage all of this and go in and upset a healthy New England team at home.

The Patriots have struggled to cover the big numbers as of late, but we think they get it done this weekend, winning by more than a couple of touchdowns.

Take the Patriots.

New York Giants at Green Bay Packers

Line: Packers -7

Over/Under: 39.5

The Giants impressive performances on the road have brought them all the way to Lambeau for a Conference Championship game. But that success away from home looks like it will hit a road block this weekend. The Packers aggressive defense will cause problems for this Giant offensive unit. On the other side of the ball, Green Bay's offense should have a very good day throwing the ball vs. a depleted New York secondary (who will likely have to start Geoff Pope, a practice squad player). Favre will have success getting the ball to a very good group of receivers, who will find open spaces most of the day, even in winter weather.

Look for the Packers to score a very nice win at home.

Take the Packers.
