Steve,
I've never read a bad word about either of the 2 sponsors, GCS and Olympic. I use both and have never had a problem. Don't know who you're using now, but I recommend these 2. GCS has the better baseball lines, I think Olympic usually has the better run lines and hockey and basketball. Didn't have either last football season, so no comment on that.

CRIS is rock solid. The Greek as well seems to be the leader of the pack as far as opening numbers go.

Stat,
I don't know what your requirement is as far as how soon you look to add another out,
don't know who you already have accounts with, so let me say the following - BOTH sponsors are here because they are solid. Try them if you haven't done so already.

You do not see 20 books advertised here.
My idea is to provide a few outs that we have knowledge of and a comfort factor in ownership and reliability. I have kept it exclusive for our opening months but will be opening the books in July and adding a maximum of 2-3 more (who will have a little something exclusively for everyedge.com posters). They will not be clones of the books who are our sponsors now (what good does it do any of us if I bring in a similar sponsor to one we have now? You have nothing new offered to you and the existing sponsors may see a drop off in sign ups).
The new additions are as reliable as our 2 existing partners but they also bring something different to the table.
If we were in this strictly for ad dollars you would easily see way more than 2 sponsors here. It is my desire to keep everyone happy - the posters, the sponsors, and the site. I can best do this by offering:
posters quality and variety in wagering options,
sponsors an exclusive site (if you were a sponsor would YOU want to be 1 of 20 books or 1 of 5?)
and everyedge a partnership of happy posters and books.
I should have an announcement soon as to who will be added. Two spots have been decided already, and I may just say close the books again at that.
Thanks,
Sonny

Statman122 - I also have fabulous service at sportsinteraction and wagerstreet. Both Canadian and on Indian reserves in Quebec Canada. Excellent options and service at both.
Also Canbet in Australia. Well established and reputable.

Stat,
I have heard nothing bad about any of the books you mentioned above. If you are satisfied with them then continue to use them, if they each offer you something unique. I will be announcing our new additions very shortly and I know they will bring something new to the table for the upcoming NFL & NHL seasons.....

Sonny, I hope I don't offend you when I ask, but do you have an ETA to reveal these new books? I want to open an account, but I want to see what unbelievable deals you have for us.

Hi Statman122... sorry for jumping in here so late. I've been with Intertops for quite awhile -- good service but the lines are not as aggressive (ie. bettor-friendly) as what I've found at GCS and DirecBet.

I've only been with DirecBet a few months -- customer service has been very good so far. They are weak on prop bets but their MLB lines have been very good.

I see meestermike has kind words for SportsInteraction... I'm lukewarm to these guys. Their customer service is pathetic IMO.

I'm with you fatl... I look forward to hearing more about the upcoming books Sonny has in mind. Options are always good.

I have to agree with Steelbag,
Sportsinteraction's customer service leaves a lot to be desired. They rank near the bottom of the industry in this department.

I agree with Steel and Kayak that sportsinteraction really sucks when it comes to customer service. I called a few times to get some help ,only to get an answering machine, that told me office hours were only from 9am - 9pm. I guess the boys there were too busy counting their money to hire someone to answer the phone.
On the flip side Canbet (Australia) and Sportingbet.com (England ) are very professional and care about you as a customer. They also wire money to your bank account at no charge. Many of these books charge as much as $50 service charge, just so you can get your money !!

I bet last year with Royal Sports after being recommended to them by Kevin Oneil
(he has a column in the Winners Edge). They all speak good English, are courteous, blahblahblah. Payouts were no problem, minimum or no cost unless you want it superquick and its for more than you put in your account with your cc. Minimum phone bets are $50 American though, not sure about online.
