A while ago, I got involved in a promo by wager world wide sports book (i think they gave you a free $25 bet or something) anyway , lost. Since then I continually get e-mails from them. I usually only play pro-line but I was thinking of trying out this sports book. I do not have a credit card and Western Union KILLS you with fees, so I e-mailed them and asked a very simple question..."do you accept cheques and if so, where do i send it"
I got a reply that simply said "how much do you want to send"
I replyed telling them aroud $200
I NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN
I realize i am a nickle and dime better but does this sound like a company that wants my business??
Has anyone else had any experience with this company?? Is it simply because my deposit was so low??

Hey Rocky,
I remember reading something a little while ago from a bookie that went a little something like this: "always write action", meaning that the more 'action' that they write, the more $$$ that the bookie will win.
I cannot understand why this sports book you are talking about is not responding to your 2nd e-mail. Maybe they lost your e-mail. You should try calling them and seeing what their minimum deposit is. Or maybe they do not like your money. If that last statement is the case, I think you should give your hard earned cash to a book that treats you with a little more respect.
I have never dealt with the sports book that you are talking about. I know a lot of people over here on this forum would recommend that we stay with one of the books that advertise here because they are screened by honest people, who are looking out for the bettors.
I hope this helps.

If I am not wrong, I think this book only takes a $500 minimum deposit. Do not hold me to this - I am not for sure. Any way they should have wrote back and when they did not, then I would not want to do business with them instead of them not wanting to do business with me. FWIW I do believe they are reputable, but not emailing you was not cool IMO.

Rocky since you live in Canada you can use a quick collect and the cost is only $15.00. Most all books pick up the fee. Give Grand Central a call. OO
