Been reading the threads for a while....any suggestions on a 1st timer finding the best fit for a newbie? After betting BC sports lottery for the last too many yrs I have had enough.

if you're looking for a little bonus add-on call Alex at GCS, tell him you're a 1st timer to the world of on-line, off shore, tell him I asked you to call, and see what he can do for you;
if you're a player, looking for variety of wagers, try Olympic or WSEX;
WSEX also offers interest on your account and live, interactive betting;
if you have any other ?'s feel free to write me here or directly at sonnypal@sierranv.net
remember - I have an elite list here, these are books I feel are solid and offer variety; they are here because I trust them.
Good luck,
Sonny
ps - you still have my vote for coolest forum name.....

I have been using both Bowmans and Olympic. Both are good. Though I've been hearing some good things about Grand Central.

I use Sports Interaction and Olympic and they are both class acts.
I have recently signed up with Sports Interaction and the only complaint that I have is that they put up their college football lines on late Monday nights. I think they wait for the lines to settle down before posting their lines.
As far as Olympic goes, the only complaint I have with them is that they offer 20 cent lines on baseball. I know for next year to shop for better lines (ie 10 cent lines) because the juice you save adds up over the long baseball season.
I know Sonny brought this up in another thread in this forum but I think that it is important to let all the newcomers know that most books do not have the balls to vary their lines. They all like to play the role of the lemming when it comes to maintaining their lines. I try to find books that are both reliable and they stand out in the crowd, with among other things the lines that they set and adjust. One books

I have been using:
www.SportsbookWorldWide.com. (http://www.SportsbookWorldWide.com.)
They have been a solid book and I've never had a problem with payouts.
The site is one of the easiest to navigate too. That was a major reason I chose them. Not all that other crap that gets you distracted. Just straight, clean, wagering.
