I have a couple of general questions:
1.) Are there any "rules of courtesy" regarding payout requests? ie. don't request a payout over the amount of $____.
2.) What is the average time it should take a book to payout a $8,000-10,000 request (is this considered a large request)?
3.) In general, are sportsbooks located in Costa Rica well regulated by their government?

I know that to some of you these may be basic or even stupid questions....so please enlighten me!

this is not stupid questions, if you do not know. first off if you send $100 or 10 dimes, that is your money - if you want a payoff ask for it. No amount is too much to ask for. Deal with legit books and you should have no problems getting paid the full amount you ask for. About the costa rica based books - I have played with alot of those and never had any problems, not sure of the government part of the business. But bottom line - good shops pay, use some of the shops that are advertised here and you will be ok. Plus I have a tread somewhere in this forum of books that have paid me numorous times. You would be surprised if you knew what alot of the offshore players are wagering. you can tell by the books limits on each sport - what is considered large. If they have $5,000 limits on sides - they are not scared of a guy who sends in 10 dimes and in return should be able to pay you 10 dimes within 2-3 days by fedex. Hope this helped.
