Here it is,
long overdue,
and much deserved,
the new Clubhouse for the "Sport of Kings" (or is the Sport of Kings jumping Queens? I forget. Oh well, anyway.....)
For a while now we have been having a problem in the main forum - too many posts, which causes posts to be landing on page two too quickly before views and replys get a chance.
We decided the correct action was to get off our butts and move on a decision we had put off - give the pony players their own clubhouse!
It's a members only place though,
with requirements:
1 - you have to revel in the beauty of the beast; nothing is as magnificent as a thorougbred in action;
2 - you have to not mind the smell of horse manure (it comes with the horse, no gettin around it)
oh yeah, also the usual requirements -
no trash talk, no morons, no selling, etc., which I won't worry about here as I have to admit the horse threads are the cleanest of all in the forums (despite the manure);
OK, who's going to "pony up" with the first winner?
OK, I apologize for the bad pun.
OK, there is no apology acceptable for the extremely bad pun. I won't do it again. What I will do is look for beginners luck and pick a horse or two as given by the guys here tomorrow and hope beginners lck applies to new forums too.
