Here's one for you guys to ponder, you've seen me go off on tangents I change style like underwear right now I'm on a chalk run little different than before though I really qualify the chalk before I use it hopefully increasing the hits above what the public hits but here's where it gets interesting we all use the term value

scenerio 1

horse i have winning 1 out of every 2 times it races in these circumstance meaning a payout of 7/5 yeilds approx 25 % on my money

scenerio 2

horse I have winning 1 outta 4 times in these circumstances meaning a payout of 12.00 yeilds approx 25% on my money

This is of course all just subjective numbers used to illustrate my point hitting the 12.00 horse looks on the surface to be better but in theory if only hit 1/4 or 1/5 is now close to being the same

I haven't built enough data for my excell only have a 100 races difficult to simulate each horse I'm interested in I have to assign a value to or my best guess on it's winning percentage
