hey tm and all you culinary wizards...cookin a goat tonight..
he/she has been underground for about twelve hours now..
an old ranch hand from nearby has been supervizing the whole thing and he says the meat will be different,but tasty.
he threw in a bunch of pineapples,onions,peppers,what looked like a block of salt(which he hit with a machete several times) and a bunch of cured mesquite...
one of those we'll see kinda things..
corn on the cob,fresh garden green beans and some pea salad should top it off..

oh...and some fredricksburgh peach cobbler for dessert..accented with a little harvey's bristle cream for the hearty folks....kinda like creme de cocao with a little cream floater,myself..

also think his last race was a dead give-away as far as a lead-up to a big race like this..

the faint-hearted might want to consider sandy as a 137 with WELL FANCIED as an exotic consideration..

yes i've been busy..
i think my cowboy cook just passed-out and is laying peacefully against a rock in my backyard,snoring...too much of that high quality beer that i bought him....PEARL from the great center of brewing,san antonio...i think i had a bottle of that when i was in el paso and decided i'd rather drink some of the back-water from the rio grande...no offense to the PEARL drinkers,mind you..lol.
