Mud Calks At Aqi

Off tracks seem to be the rule these days esp at AQI.
At AQI from dec29 thru Jan 12, the horses wearing mud calks have won 17 of 40 races on tracks listed as SLY, MDY or GD and returned a total of $278, or 3.30 per $2 bet if you played them all[ I ignored races with no MC and where the # of horses with MC was 5 or greater and races where the # of MC horses was 50% or more of the field e.g.3/6, 4/8.].
Yesteday out of 6 eligble races 2 Mc horse won one paid 25 and the other paid $4 as part of an entry that ran 1,2 and also paid $4 to plce[ $5.50 and $5.40 at HPI]; both with the MC.
In order to find out who is wearing the MCs, you have to watch the changes scroll on the bottom of the screen at 10min or less to post. They are shown immeadiately after the scratches for the upcoming race and prior to the scratches for subsequent races, so one has to be alert. Tom Dirken also announces them if you are fortunate to have volume at your OTB or Tv provider. there are typically 2 to 3 MC wearers per race and if you were to bet everyone of them to win you woulda made $1.20 for each $2 invested.
An off track is forecast again for Aqi today.

note Track condition changed to fast for 5th race. MC are still effective but prices are much lower.
