Yesterday saw the majority of the weekend’s Premier League action with eight matches playing out, but despite there being just two matches playing this Sunday the football promises to be of a superior quality. All of the top three sides are playing today as Arsenal and Chelsea clash in a top of the table clash while Manchester United face Everton at Goodison Park. How will the games go and where is the betting value? Here’s our EPL picks and all odds provided come from 10bet.com.

Arsenal v Chelsea: 2.35 – 3.15 – 3.25

The biggest match of the Premier League this weekend happens at The Emirates Stadium in North London as the top two sides in the league coming into match week 34 of the season clash in a match that will decide who’ll take the league title this season. We’d like to think that this will be an Arsenal type of game with free flowing football and plenty of chances, but with Jose Mourinho ten points clear with six games to go before this London derby he’ll set out his side to take a point and stifle the creativity in the match, and perhaps even nick all three points.

With Loic Remy out injured and Diego Costa still a doubt after being rushed back from a hamstring injury Mourinho’s forward options are limited and this is sure to settle how the game will go. Arsenal are missing a few players too with Mikel Arteta and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain definitely out while Per Mertesacker is doubtful after limping out of the match last weekend that saw Arsenal book their place in the FA Cup Final, but these issues are the least of the worries for Arsene Wenger.

The Frenchman has never won a match against Jose Mourinho in 12 attempts and with Chelsea certain to sit deep and ensure that they are not beaten. We cannot see Wenger breaking his winless run against the Portuguese manager despite Arsenal having won eight EPL games in a row before this weekend’s clash.

Everton v Man United: 3.60 – 3.25 – 2.15

25 points and nine places separate the two sides battling at Goodison Park in the opening Premier League match this Sunday as mid-table but safe take on third placed Manchester United who are battling to ensure they return to the Champions League next season.

The last time that United played on the blue half of Merseyside they were beaten 2-0 and this spelled the end of former Everton manager David Moyes’ tenure at Old Trafford and with new boss Louis van Gaal having presided over six wins in their last seven Premier League games, losing only to champions elect Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, we are confident that we’re not in for a repeat of this action no matter the result.

United defeated Everton 2-1 at Old Trafford in October but with them missing key players Michael Carrick, Phil Jones, Marcus Rojo and Rafael in defensive positions they are still struggling with injuries. They may welcome back Daley Blind for the this game, but with these player issues and just three clean sheets away from home all season in 14 road trips there is sure to be goals for the home side.

Everton’s major injury doubt is Steven Pienaar but with seven unbeaten games on home soil in the league they will believe they can upset the odds to win this game, especially as they have five clean sheets in their last six. However, United certainly have more to play for and will be more motivated for this match and we can see them both scoring and conceding goals in this match but, ultimately, taking all three points at Goodison Park.
