The majority of this weekend’s Premier League football happened in the eight matches played on Saturday, but there are still two games to play this Sunday and both of these fixtures offer thrilling clashes. The first match sees Liverpool take on their bogey team over the last couple of seasons in Crystal Palace while the final game of the weekend pits two sides who are having a late season resurgence in West Brom v Man United.
We preview both games with online sportsbook Bet365.com and provide our top EPL Picks.
Every since Liverpool collapsed at Selhurst Park almost two years ago to see them lose the Premier League title as they went from 3-0 up to draw 3-3 they have hated playing Crystal Palace in the league. They have met four times this that match that has gone down in EPL folklore with three of those coming in the league and one in the FA Cup. Liverpool won the cup game but have lost all three EPL meetings since that time, but they come into this clash eight points and seven points better off than their hosts for this Sunday afternoon match and after a 3-0 thumping of Man City last weekend they will be confident of ending this awful run in recent matches.
The fact that Palace have taken just four points from their last 11 EPL matches and are the only side in the league yet to take all three points in the league in 2016 will certainly see Liverpool believing that they can end their shocking run of former against the South London team. However, even with the fact that they are not winning games The Eagles will still be a threat in front of goal as they have found the net in all of their last eight games in all competitions and have shown brilliance in the FA Cup. They will need to translate this against an inconsistent away team that has lost four and won three on their EPL travels lately.
We are not confident that Palace are able to do this, but with their run of scoring goals gives us optimism that they can certainly compete with the beaten Capital One Cup finalists. Can Liverpool end their poor run against Palace? It is possible, but we are not confident in this happening so we are putting our money on Palace to extend their goalscoring run and join the side who have scored 11 goals in their last three away league games on the scoresheet.

The final game from round 29 of the Premier League comes from the West Midlands as The Hawthorns sees a meeting of West Brom and Manchester United in a meeting that promises much for those observing the action. Earlier in the season many would have predicted a dour and boring game, but with The Baggies having beaten Everton and Crystal Palace as well as drawing with Leicester in their last three EPL games, scoring six and conceding four, while new striker Marcus Rashford has seen the excitement return at Old Trafford. Who’ll continue their upward trajectories with more positive performances this Sunday evening and who’ll come crashing back down to earth?
United won the first meeting of these two sides this season at Old Trafford as Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata scored in the second half to triumph 2-0, but they did not do as well last season against The Baggies as they were beaten at home and drew on this ground. They have shown themselves to be poor on the road at times this season and come into this match having beaten only League One Shrewsbury Town away from home since the end of January and with West Brom having shown some excellent form in front of goal with five against Crystal Palace and Leicester to show that they are moving away from the boring reputation that have gained since Tony Pulis took over.
Both sides have been conceding goals of late too and with both finding the net regularly this is our second match of the day that we see goals being scored and we are backing this outcome.
