Down 3-0 in the series the Cavaliers extracted revenge vs. Golden State by absolutely blowing the doors off them in a record setting “3-four-all performance!”
Cleveland torched the Warriors on 24 out of 45 shooting from 3 point range this past Friday outscoring them 72 to 33 from beyond the arc.
Kyrie Irving (7 of 12) Love (6 of 8) and J.R. Smith (5 of 9) were all hot from 3-point range while Durant went 2 of 9 and Curry was also 2 of 9. The team that has made the most 3’s has won each of the first four games in this series.
So, Cleveland finds themselves in the exact same scenario as last season’s finals, down 3 games to 1 and playing in Oakland. In their first three wins Golden State dominated the Cavaliers in shooting the “3,” with a 138 vs. 93 point edge.
Who makes more 3-point shots in tonight’s game?
Here are some winning systems and my opinion on game 5.
First Half Systems
· After being beaten ATS by more than 24 points, play on home teams in the first half. This system is 139-86 = 62% ATS since 1996.
· Play teams that have won 12 or more of their last 15 games to sail over the first half total when the O/U is greater than 105 points and they’re playing only their second game in 5 days. This first half system is 70-27 = 72% to the over the past five seasons.
Full Game System
· Play home teams over the total when the O/U is greater than or equal to 210 points when revenging a blowout loss to an opponent by 20 points or more. This system is 82-41 = 66.7% to the over the past five seasons.
My opinion on the Cavaliers +6 points won in game 4.
These two teams have played at a frantic pace in the first quarter and that is why the total is 61 or 61.5 points. I have an Everyedge.com opinion on the over at 61 points in the first quarter.
