The Rematch! What everyone one wanted, well, what the national media and the bookmakers wanted! And our NBA Picks (ok I admit, maybe not everyone)!

The hype is crazy for this one – greatest regular season wins team vs the greatest player of his generation! Speaking of which, Lebron James and Steph Curry added a little spice to this final with their tit-for-tat feud over what the NBA MVP award means. Sour grapes is what I think Lebron is trying to say.

Moving on, these are the best teams from their respective conference. Cleveland Cavaliers had a cakewalk until they were pushed to 6 games by the Raptors. Warriors were pushed to 7 games by OKC while Portland and Houston were handful for The City.

Da Stats

                             SU             ATS            O/U

Cleveland           69-27       46-48-2     46-48-2

Golden State      85-14       56-41-2      52-46-1

Warriors post season record is 12-5 SU, 11-6 ATS and 3-10-1 Over Under record.

Cavaliers are 12-3 SU, 9-6 ATS and Over Under 8-7 in the playoffs.

Lebron James has never won the NBA Finals trophy when his team is the underdog. Last year Andre Iguodala won the MVP at 125/1 odds. Stephen Curry will try to be the 11th player in league history to win the NBA Finals after winning the League MVP.  Here are the feature NBA Finals betting markets courtesy of Bovada.lv

NBA Picks

Total Games in Series – 6 games +210. I’m cheering for the Dubs. I’m worried about their stamina after record breaking season, tough playoff grind, but they have a great coaching staff. Cleveland are fresh and no major injuries to their stars. Won’t go 7, but will go 6.

MVP Pick – Lebron James +200. We were ripped off last year with Iguodala winning the MVP – paid 125/1 – and win or lose, I think James will push even harder in this final. I’m not a James fan, but think Curry or Klay Thompson may be spent as it’s been a gruelling playoff.

Game 1 Pick – Over 210. This is a different Cleveland team. Healthy and shooting 3s like they are about to expire. We know Golden State. I think the teams will be a loose in Game 1.
