The Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers seem like three very different teams at first glance. Once you start dissecting the subgroups, however, there are actually quite a few similarities. Their situation right now is also familiar:

— Each is coming off a SU/ATS road win

— Each has a winning record on the season

— All three would make the playoffs if the season ended today

There is another thing in common between these teams and it’s not just a one-off. Each team benefitted from a non-offensive touchdown (NOTD) during their Week 13 victory. Here are some stats pertaining to their Week 14 matchup that could be of use.

WEEK 14 NFL TRENDS

The Chiefs host Oakland on Thursday night, Denver is in Tennessee and Tampa Bay plays host to the New Orleans Saints.

TNF; Raiders at Chiefs (-3, O/U 47): Albert Wilson blew Atlanta’s mind with a fake punt Sunday but it was nothing compared to the dismay of Falcon fans when Eric Berry returned his second pick of the day for a score that sealed victory in the fourth. Pick-6 and a pick-2 in the same game; not bad.

KC is tied for the league lead in NOTD at six but Thursday home teams off a road win where they cashed a NOTD are 0-3 ATS. This is a hungry Raiders group looking for revenge. (Alprazolam) The TNF schedule was pretty lame early in the year (Ie. Dolphins – Bengals) but this makes up.

Saints at Bucs (-2.5, O/U 51): There is already a price of -120 for the Bucs at most books so that will likely turn to -3 by kickoff. Tampa is doing good things and they shutdown Seattle two weeks ago at Raymond James but this is divisional. Laying -3 points with Tampa feels as dangerous as laying MORE THAN -3 points with the Saints.

If you can get -2.5, consider the home side but there is also a divisional Over/Under trend “live” that has produced 13-straight unders since 2010.

Denver at Tennessee is still waiting for a line based on Trevor Siemian’s status but he’s out of his walking boot Monday. HC Gary Kubiak said he’s expecting Siemian to start vs. the Titans. Regardless of the line, consider these trends for road teams off a road game where they had at least two TDs and one of them was NOTD. The record is 22-5 ATS with favorites going 8-1 ATS.
