Chicago Blackhawks vs Minnesota Wild -0.5
The BlackHawks have not been lighting it up on the scoreboard this season averaging only 2.0 GPG, (goals per game,) in their first 10 contests including an average of 1.2 GPG when away from home.
The Wild are averaging 3.1 GPG on the season including 3.2 goals at home while allowing an average of only 1.7 per game.
Chicago is still without the services of star defenseman Duncan Keith and Cory Crawford, (GAA of 1.21 in his last 5 starts,) sits tonight as Scott Darling is between the pipes for the Hawks. In his most recent start, Darling allowed 4 goals on 24 shots at Washington on October 15th. He has only two stars this season, going 1–1–0 with a GAA of 2.51 and save percentage of 90.6%.
Devin Dubnyk gets the start in goal for the Wild. Dubnyk’s 4–0 at home allowing only 7 goals with a save percentage of 93.1%

· The past three seasons the Wild are 19–05 and +11.70-units in home games after a close win by 1 goal in their previous game.
· The past three seasons Chicago is 24–35 ATS and –20.50-units in road games against excellent power play teams who are scoring on more than 17.5% of their chances.
· Minnesota is 14–02 ATS and+16.10-units when playing against teams averaging 2.4 or less goals per game the last two seasons.
· Play against Friday night money line road underdogs of +100 to +150 after having won four of their last five games. This system is 97–31 = 76% and +52.80-units since 1996 as well as 22–05 the previous five seasons. (Incidentally the average M/L in this system is –142,) but I won’t lay that kind of wood.
