White Mulberry Tree – Green Thumbs Garden
White Mulberry - Morus alba is a fast growing small to medium sized tree. The white mulberry is widely used to feed silkworms that are used in the commercial production of silk. Contrary to their name, the berries of white mulberry trees are not always white; they start out white and can either turn to pale pink-red and mature to an almost black purple or remain white when ripe. In autumn leaves turn various shades of yellow adding color to your landscape. Full sun to partial sun.
