College Football Week 10 and a few clubs have a chip on the shoulder, actually the whole PAC-12 have a chip with CFP rankings. We’re all still trying to figure out how Texas A&M are ranked against an undefeated PAC-12 club. But we are not here to quibble about the CFP committee’s ways of marketing the College Football Playoffs, we here to breakdown the chip on the shoulders match ups.

We went 1-4 last week – everyone should be fading us – but the best bets are in the positive.

We split our college football picks into Leans 1 unit), Plays (2 Units) and Best Bets (3 Units).

LEANS (3-12-1)

Pinnacle Odds: Washington -17.5 vs California +17.5 Total 76.5

Under 76.5  Yes these offences put up yards, but only one team has a chip and CFP gave them a cause.

Pinnacle Odds: Texas A&M -13 at Mississippi State +13 Total 62.5

Mississippi St. +13  The Queen song “Under Pressure” may be humming in their helmets, Mississippi St. will be playing in “their CFP playoff.”

PLAYS (6-10-1)

Pinnacle Odds: Alabama -7 at LSU +7 Total 45

Alabama -7  Tigers have won 3 straight under their new coach, but this is a mirage in Death Valley. Tigers will be in tough to keep up with the top side in the nation.

Pinnacle Odds: Florida State -5 at NC State -5 Total 58

Florida State -5 NC State doesn’t have the talent to keep up with the Seminoles unless a torrential downpour hits. Weather forecast is for sunshine and and 67 F.

BEST BETS (5-4)

Pinnacle Odds: Florida -4 at Arkansas +4 Total 47.5

Florida -4 Too many trends backing the Gators and here is one: Bet  road favorites (FLORIDA) – after allowing 14 points or less in 2 straight games against opponent after allowing 37 points or more last game.
