Here is some insight on the NHL’s night cap game 7 between the Edmonton Oilers and Anaheim Ducks. After crushing the Ducks 7-1 in Edmonton in game 6 the Oilers travel to Anaheim for a game 7, a contest where they must feel relatively comfortable with as they won the first two games of the series in Anaheim.

For the Ducks to have success this evening they will have to try and slow down Leon Draisaitl as he has been unstoppable against them scoring 11 goals and 10 assists in 11 games against the Ducks this season.
Apparently Edmonton will get back defenseman Oscar Klefbom who missed Game 6 with an upper-body injury.

Anaheim will be without winger Patrick Eaves who is sidelined with a foot injury plus defenseman Kevin Bieksa is also unlikely to play tonight.

Ice Chips

  • Edmonton is 14-03 after a blowout win by 3 goals or more this season.
  • Anaheim is 12-17 ATS (-12.3 Units) after having won 3 of their last 4 games this season.
  • The Oilers are 7-1 ATS in road games off a win by 2 or more goals vs. a division rival this season.
  • In the second half of the season this season Edmonton is 10-04 vs. the money line when playing a team with a winning straight up record.

Road Warriors

In the second half of the season an after losing two of their last three games, play on road teams with a winning straight up record. This system is 274-223 = 55% the past five seasons and +65.40-units.

NHL Pick

I have an opinion on the Edmonton Oilers at +108 on the money line.
