SEC Conference- Top Three Predictions

With the strongest division in college football being the SEC, the conference will yet again have very close contested games amongst each other. However, with this said there are three teams to keep on a lookout the Alabama Crimson Tide, the LSU Tigers and the Tennessee Volunteers. With all three of these teams having a legitimate chance to win it all the reality of the situation is that Alabama will always be favourites in the SEC until such time but ultimately, the Crimson tide possess a stronger team overall opposed to the other two teams which leads them to be frontrunners for the title.

In beginning, the Alabama Crimson Tide in my mind will win the SEC Conference. My predication is that the Crimson Tide will be Over their projected nine and half win season. This is as result of having a superior coach in Nick Saban. In nine years with Alabama Saban has lead the Crimson Tide to a 100-18 record. Along with Saban’s coaching record, comes many other credentials such as, five national championships, numerous coach of the year awards within the SEC and many SEC titles. Despite having Nick Saban at the helm, the Crimson Tide have many more weapons at the offensive and defensive side of the football which make them more advantageous over other teams. With defensive end Jonathan Allen and safety Eddie Jackson the defensive will be more than capable to come up with turnovers and stops. Similarly, at the offensive side of the football the Crimson Tide will be loaded with the likes of wide receiver Calvin Ridley and left tackle Cam Robinson. To add on, anything less than a deep run into the playoffs would be a disappointment for the Crimson Tide.

Furthermore, for my second best bet I see the LSU Tigers slotting in second overall in the overall SEC conference. My predication is that Tigers will be Over their projected nine and half win season. This is due to the fact that LSU has one of nations top three running backs who is a strong candidate for the Heisman Trophy. In addition, with LSU’s favorable schedule and recent success in the last four years the Tigers should give the Crimson Tide a very good shot for top spot overall in the SEC and in the West Division.

Lastly, the Tennessee Volunteers come in with my third best bet to win it all in the SEC. My predication is that the Volunteers will be Under their projected nine and half win season. My judgment is made this way since the Volunteers haven’t had their best season in the last four years pilling up a 26-24 record. Although, this has occurred Tennessee is still in contention of national playoff berth with a strong quarterback and a defense which contains physical pass rushers of the edge.
