Short and sweet this year. We like the Denver Broncos -2 to win and cover as our Super Bowl Pick.
We’re on a nice run with our official Super Bowl picks the last 12 years here at Everyedge, sporting a 9-3 ATS mark (all picks posted in the Free Picks section of the site).
We actually went around and around on this one. There was a good case to be made to land on a Seattle Seahawk play and we really weren’t sure what our pick was going to be until about Tuesday or Wednesday this past week after really digging and doing a lot of talking and hashing out amongst the guys.
The truth is, if it wasn’t a tradition that carries over from our Winner’s Edge magazine days, we would pass this year on putting a Super Bowl pick. I know..blasphemy.
The Super Bowl is the only game we will somewhat force a play. We actually shy away from making selections on the big, marquee games…but obviously Super Bowl Sunday is the exception.
And we have had a lot of success with this one. Dating back to the Winner’s Edge magazine days, we have an overall record of 14-5 ATS on Super Bowl side picks and 4-1 when we’ve given out a total on the Super Bowl.
